DIY: Breakfast Linguine

Although this recipe is not necessarily Georgian, you can use as much locally grown products like eggs and bacon from a local butcher to make this dish a Georgia recipe.  I was watching Food Network one night and saw mention of a breakfast pasta.  It had a few basic ingredients: olive oil, garlic, eggs and parmesan cheese tossed with al dente linguine.  I added bacon to my version because what’s better at breakfast than bacon?  Try this for any meal and it’s sure to be a surprising crowd pleaser.

Breakfast Linguine

1 box linguine (or fresh if you can get it) cooked al dente

5 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

5 eggs, beaten

2 tlbs olive oil

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

3 garlic cloves, chopped

Salt and Pepper
